Faye Gerard

VP of Low Carbon and Sustainability, BPX Energy

Dr. Faye Gerard is the vice president of low carbon and sustainability at BPX Energy, the onshore oil and gas production subsidiary of BP. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tuskegee University. Faye has worked in the oil and gas industry for 28 years. Faye has been at BP for 14 years. During her career, Faye has held leadership roles in environmental engineering, projects, HSE, regulatory, and safety and operational risk within BP. She began her career at Marathon Oil Company for 15 years with roles in the refineries as a process engineering and leadership roles in HSE, diversity, and public/community affairs. Faye has three children, and her interests are in philanthropic planning, reading, volunteering, and traveling. Faye serves on several University advisory boards and board member of various community and civic organizations. Faye spends her free time writing and giving leadership and STEM presentations to youth groups in the community.
