META Seminars

The Methane Emissions Technology Alliance (META), led by Stanford and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, is a multi-institution group of researchers and practitioners in the private and public sectors focusing on sharing and discussing advances in the detection and mitigation of methane emissions from a variety of sources.
"META seminars have a particularly great mix of practical industry and cutting edge academic talks. The attendees are top notch, and Frost Methane has made invaluable connections through the seminar series." ~ Olya Irzak, Founder and CEO of Frost Methane
The flagship initiative of META is our biweekly online seminar series discussing the latest advances in research and practice in this field.
Since we launched early in 2020, we have had speakers from Georgia Tech, Frost Methane, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the Gas Technology Institute, the National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Environmental Defense Fund, and Stanford.
Who Can Attend?
Anyone interested in attending these seminars is welcome to do so. We aim to bring together researchers and stakeholders from industry, government, and nonprofit organizations interested in discussing the latest developments in methane emissions technologies.
